Fayetteville police are currently investigating an accident that left a motorcyclist dead and a pedestrian injured. The incident happened Monday evening on the All American Freeway between the Yadkin Road Bridge and Santa Fe Drive. According to authorities, 21-year-old Cody Soucier was riding on his motorcycle when, suddenly, he hit a pedestrian. He lost control of the motorcycle a short distance later and was then hit by a truck which was driven 77-year-old Bessie Blaylock. Soucier died at the scene. The unidentified pedestrian is now listed in critical condition at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Did karma strike back to Soucier instantly? Whatever the cause of this event, it is yet to be solved by the authorities. At present, there’s no word on if charges will be filed.
