A four-car accident in Florence County, SC, left two people dead and several others injured on Monday, July 28.
Officials say the accident happened around 1 PM on Highway 76 in Florence County. A Chevy Tahoe and Honda Civic were both in the westbound lanes when the Tahoe tried to switch lanes and struck the back of the Civic, which crossed the eastbound lane, hit an embankment, and overturned.
The Tahoe then hit the rear of a Nissan Maxima, which was disabled in the center lanes with a GMC Yukon. The Maxima was pushed into two pedestrians and then hit the Yukon.
Authorities say that 39-year-old Emily Wyatt and her 19-year-old son Dylan Wyatt, both from Lincolnton, North Carolina, were sadly pronounced dead following the accident.
