How to Obtain Your Bamberg Police Accident Report

There is essential evidence included on a Police Accident Report, which is a compilation of the Investigating Officer’s findings. This report is filed electronically, and a request is needed to get a copy. The report will typically include notations listing contributors to the accident, as well as a drawing or image showing the point of impact and visible vehicle damages.

The Records Division of the Bamberg Police Department has provided us with the following details in order to assist in the acquisition of your Police Accident Report. You will find specific instructions within the In Person and By Mail sections.

There is no fee charged for the Police Accident Report for involved parties.

At the time of your request, uninvolved parties may be asked to provide a Freedom of Information Act FOIA Request Form. If not available at the station, you may download Form G-639 and the instructions from U.S. Homeland Security. Uninvolved parties are generally given a redacted copy (at the discretion of the Records Officer).
