How to Obtain Your Belton Police Accident Report

The Investigating Officer’s findings can be found on your Police Accident Report. This report will be filed electronically, requiring your participation to get a copy. There may be notations listing contributors to the accident as well as a diagram or drawing to visually define the point of impact & visible vehicle damages.

The Records Division of the Belton Police Department has provided us with the following information and points of contact to assist in the acquisition of your Police Accident Report.

You are asked to come in person into office to acquire the report. If you are from out of town or otherwise unable to visit the office you may call the department for alternative arrangements, at the Records Clerk’s discretion. There is no fee for involved parties; uninvolved parties must pay $5.00 and submit a FOIA form. The G-639 form is available in person or downloadable online FOIA Form G-639  from U.S. Homeland Security. Uninvolved parties may only be allowed a redacted copy (at the discretion of the Records Officer).
