How to Obtain Your Folly Beach Police Accident Report
A Police Accident Report contains important evidence you will want to retain; a compilation of the Investigating Officer’s findings. This report will be filed electronically, requiring your participation to get a copy. There may be notations listing contributors to the accident. There is a $5.00 fee per copy of the Police Accident Report, which will be waived for residents if your valid ID has a Folly Beach address. The request may be downloaded and mailed as directed, or you may complete it in person
At the time of your request, you may be asked to provide a Freedom of Information Act FOIA Request Form. You may download Folly Beach FOIA form and mail it in as instructed, or you can submit the online FOIA form. Uninvolved parties may only be allowed a redacted copy (at the discretion of the Records Officer).

Alternatively, if your traffic accident took place on the Interstate, you will need to download and mail in this Request for Officer’s Report (SCDMV Form FR-50) from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. Fill out the form as completely as possible and sign. Send 2 copies along with a check or money order payable to SCDMV for $6.00, to the address below:
