How to Obtain Your Spartanburg Police Accident Report

When you have been involved in a Spartanburg traffic accident, one of the documents critical to a personal injury case is going to be a copy of your Police Accident Report. It has notes from the Investigating Officer, usually indicating which parties contributed to the accident. There will also be a diagram of intersecting streets, so the officer can indicate the point of collision, as well as the outline of a vehicle to allow them to mark damages.

The Spartanburg Police Department Records Division gives the public access to copies of the Police Accident Report upon request at the window (see In Person and By Mail sections below). There is no cost for In Person victims of the collision with proper identification; while other non-involved parties must pay $3.00 per copy.
